Goodbye, Great Wilma

My wonderful great grandma, Wilma Ford, passed away on Saturday at the age of 102. She will be greatly missed. She was an amazing woman that always sent birthday cards (I’m almost 40 and she still continued to send her sweet well wishes), email (I love WebTv), and led an active life. I am sad that we won’t be there for her memorial service today, but blessed that we’d gone back to visit twice in the last few years. Although, I’m sure my great grandma loved me without condition and didn’t know of my struggles with alcohol, I am truly thankful that I got sober in her lifetime and was able to really appreciate this last visit out to see her.
