Don’t take the Bridge to Terabithia
I’m just going to come out and say it: Bridge to Terabithia sucked. I won’t ruin the movie for you here (ha ha), but if you want to know why I hated disliked this movie so much then please read on…
Besides having the worst editing and a poorly executed storyline, the previews and reviews for the movie don’t happen to mention the sudden and completely unexpected death of one of the main characters. Then the writers/director doesn’t even bother to neatly tie up the ending. Fuckers. Assholes. Stupid heads. (I’m really trying not to swear. Really.) I hate don’t like when they kill off children in a kids movie that’s marketed as a feel good flick (My Girl) or fantasy film. I was not prepared to sit through that movie and watch my 9 year old son cry. Pisses me off.
