Road Trip
June 20th, 2007
Did I mention that I’m leaving tomorrow morning at 5am with my 2 children and driving to Disneyland (aka the Happiest Place on Earth)? Yeah, just me. Not Jeff (he has to work). My kids are awesome, but they have been known to be extremely obnoxious. Am I crazy for spending 2 days on the road alone with my children (”we think not”) or am I a good mother for taking them on a fun, summer trip? Hmmmm….good question. We’ll be staying with the in-laws tomorrow night, meeting up with my aunt, cousin’s family (cousin, preggo wife, and darling son) in the LA-area and then meeting my Ps in Anaheim Friday night.
Now, don’t start taking bets on my sobriety quite yet. I think I’m up to this.

Thats cool, I worked on the California Project.
We are going to the happiest place on Earth in about 10 days. Whoo-hoo. We live about 40 minutes away but don’t visit the theme park often.
How did the road trip go? Any pix of Mickey Mouse ears?
California Adventure was way cool. I’ve been to Disneyland many, many times (I was born in SoCal), but it was our first time at Ca. Adventure. I was very impressed and wished we had had more time to spend there, but the kids (and adults) were just too beat.
Soberchick, I hope you have a great time! Road trip was good…need to work on my daughter’s communication skills a bit, but otherwise a great time was had by all.
