Taking a trip…
Tomorrow I go on a 5 day vacation with my husband. We’re leaving the kids with my parents and driving out to the coast to stay the night. Then we’re driving up to Astoria and down to Portland for a few days. I desperately need this time off…alone…with my husband. I need to sleep in with no plans and no schedule and no deadlines. I need to hear live music and order room service. I need to walk on the beach holding hands with Jeff. I need to get away from work and my silly resentments. I need to clear my head.
My best friend turns 40 today. Happy Birthday, MoMo, I love you!
