So a funny thing happened after my cousin’s wedding…I ended up spending most of the night in a casino bar/dance club with my cousins, their SOs and their friends. I didn’t drink (alcohol, anyway) and I had a really great time. I felt awkard and weird at first, but that soon melted away and I let myself enjoy the music and the company. I think I had the first real conversations I ever had with my one female cousin…to me, that is priceless. Most everyone was pretty tipsy, but not everyone (imagine that). And I danced. Sober. Go figure.
