[tag]Betty Friedan[/tag] made a direct impact on my life because her book made a profound difference to how my grandmother lived her life. From my grandma and my mother I learned that a woman can choose her path and not have it dictated by society or pre-determined by tradition. Because of women like Betty Friedan and my grandma, I have options. So to both women I say thank you. And to my awesome and amazing grandma I say:
